Instructions
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, sugar, and salt.
- Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt 1 tbsp butter.
- Dip each slice of bread into the mixture, ensuring both sides are evenly coated.
- Place the soaked bread in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Repeat with remaining slices, adding more butter as needed.
- Serve warm with maple syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh fruit.
