Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bottle (750ml) white wine (Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, or Riesling)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 ripe peaches, thinly sliced
- ½ cup peach schnapps or Cointreau
- ½ cup fresh orange juice
- 2 tbsp honey or simple syrup (adjust for sweetness)
- 1 cup sparkling water or club soda (for bubbles)
Optional Additions:
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
- 1 cup ice cubes (for serving)
- ½ cup raspberries (for added fruitiness)
- 1 lemon or orange, sliced (for a citrus twist)
Instructions
Prepare the Fruit:
- Wash and slice the strawberries and peaches. If using frozen fruit, let it thaw slightly before adding.
2️⃣ Mix the Ingredients:
- In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, peach schnapps, orange juice, and honey/simple syrup.
- Stir until well mixed.
3️⃣ Add the Fruit:
- Toss in the strawberries, peach slices, and optional citrus slices.
4️⃣ Chill the Sangria:
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (for best results, let it chill for 4-6 hours or overnight).
5️⃣ Add Sparkling Water & Serve:
- Just before serving, stir in sparkling water to add a refreshing fizz.
- Pour over ice in wine glasses, garnish with mint leaves, and enjoy!
Notes
- For a stronger sangria: Add ¼ cup brandy for a deeper flavor.
- Make it sweeter: Increase honey or simple syrup to taste.
- For a frozen version: Blend the sangria ingredients with ice for a slushie-style cocktail.
- Non-alcoholic version: Substitute white wine with white grape juice and peach schnapps with peach nectar.
